Technical requirements are obligatory when preparing adverts and if ignored the print-shop cannot ensure print results without deviations.
As ready-made adverts, we accept PDF files that meet the ISO standard 15930-1 pdf/x-1a: 2001 and the ISO standard 15930-4 pdf/x-1a: 2003. If the adverts are in other formats, please co-ordinate with the editorial staff.
In case of an advert that has a bleed, an additional bleed of 5 mm should be added to all of its edges.
When designing adverts, all the pictures and objects must be in the CMYK format.
To achieve a deep black colour, use the colour combination 100% Black, 50% Cyan, 40% Magenta, and 40% Yellow.
The total ink limit on content pages cannot exceed the percentage given in the table below.
When designing adverts, we recommend the use of ICC profiles that suit the respective paper. You can find the correct profile from the table below and the profiles can be downloaded from the printing house’s website (addresses added to the table below).
When designing adverts, you are not allowed to use other colours in the case of black objects with a line width below 0.2 mm and texts (titles, sub-titles, main text) under 10 points.
When designing adverts, you are not allowed to use negative text in coloured objects that are less than 10 points and with a line width under 0.2 mm.
When designing adverts, you are not allowed to use other colours (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) for black frame objects (table grid, picture frames or other similar design elements).
When designing adverts, critical objects (text, logos, and other design elements) must be placed 5 mm from the outer edge of the page.
